AGB Hotel
Prices
The prices are per room and night incl. breakfast buffet, VAT and excl. visitor's tax.
Occupation and return of the hotel rooms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing
- your room is ready for occupancy from 3 pm on the day of arrival, or earlier if possible
- the room must be returned by 10 am on the day of departure
- rooms - within the confirmed category - are allocated according to availability
Room cancellation
Room reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. Room reservations canceled later will be charged at 80%.
Early departure and/or late arrival will be treated as a "no show" and charged, unless this change to the reservation is notified in writing 2 days in advance.
Cancellations and/or changes to reservations must be made in writing. The place of jurisdiction is Bern.

Credit cards
In addition to cash, EC-Direct and Postcard, we also accept reka-checks, the reka-card and Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.

Cancellation
The written reservation confirmation is binding. Should you need to cancel your booking in whole or in part, please let us know in writing.
The later your cancellation is received, the more difficult it will be for us to fill the beds and rooms reserved for you. If no other reservations can be made, the cancellation will be charged as follows:
20 to 30 days before the event
40% of the agreed amount
8 to 19 days before the event
80% of the agreed amount
0 to 7 days before the event
100% of the agreed amount
The number of participants stated two days in advance is binding for invoicing purposes. We cannot consider any later cancellations. Participants who do not cancel will be charged in full.
Right of withdrawal
Cancellation in writing by Andalo GmbH is possible in justified cases (in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations) up to 3 months before the event.
Collection
You will receive a total invoice after your event. We expect your payment within 30 days net. We do not accept rebates or discounts. Individual collections are not provided for social events. Our prices include 7.7% VAT
Liability
The removal of extraordinary soiling or the repair of damage to the castle, the course rooms, hotel rooms and the park will be charged to the organizer. The place of jurisdiction is Bern. The house rules are an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions.
Additional rooms
Additional rooms (if not included in the seminar flat rate) and special furnishing requests will be charged at cost and by arrangement.

AGB Parties & Banquets
General information
Münchenwiler Castle is very keen to ensure an unforgettable celebration. To this end, it is necessary to agree clear rules and conditions between the organizer as the client and Münchenwiler Castle in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
Our contractual partner is the organizer. The organizer confirms that he is aware of the content of these terms and conditions.
Münchenwiler Castle undertakes to exercise due care in the execution of the order. Münchenwiler Castle provides the organizer with comprehensive catering services for the event, as well as providing the agreed infrastructure. Schloss Münchenwiler in no way assumes the function of the organizer. The responsibility for the pre-arranged course of the banquet remains with the organizer of the event.
Conclusion of contract and scope of services
Following the inquiry, Münchenwiler Castle prepares a written offer detailing the scope of services and the expected costs. The confirmation of reservation is deemed to be a contract. This can only be amended in writing or in consultation with Münchenwiler Castle. The contractual agreement is decisive for the type and scope of the service to be provided. Any changes or additional services will be offered and ordered again.
Minor changes
Münchenwiler Castle reserves the right to make minor changes to its services in relation to the order in the event of menu selection or short-term changes to the market offer, for example due to a lack of goods on the market or massively increased prices. It undertakes to fulfill the order in an equivalent manner.
Prices & payment
Our prices include the applicable VAT rates.
You will receive the final invoice after your event. We expect your payment within 30 days net. We do not accept rebates or discounts. Unjustified deductions will be invoiced.
The bill for a banquet can only be paid on site in exceptional cases approved in advance.
Withdrawal from the contract
In principle, clients have the right to withdraw from the concluded contract at any time under the following cancellation conditions.
- 60 to 31 days before the event 20% of the agreed amount
- 30 to 7 days before the event 50% of the agreed amount
- 6 days before the event 100% of the agreed amount
The number of participants stated 3 days in advance is binding for invoicing. Additional participants will be charged.
Cancellation in writing by Schloss Münchenwiler GmbH is possible in justified cases (in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations) up to 3 months before the event.
Additional staff
We charge CHF 60.00 per person per hour for additional staff, for example for parking services, setting up and dismantling decorations in the banqueting hall and on the castle grounds.
Liability
The removal of extraordinary soiling or the repair of damage to the castle, the festival rooms, hotel rooms and the park will be charged to the organizer.
Place of jurisdiction
Swiss law is applicable. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bern.
